GolfFox.net is a golf course search engine containing United States golf courses. GolfFox.net is largely powered by YOU, the user, meaning that every course in our system is fully editable by its users. Additionally, GolfFox.net contains golf course articles, ratings, and user reviews (all submitted by other golfers) helping you make an educated decision about where to play next.
GolfFox.net also offers tee times on over 1,500 courses nationwide, and is currently working hard at expanding this inventory. We encourage you to contact us if you have any comments or questions about our site.
Trust is an indespensable component in today's ecommerce and data-driven websites. Since GolfFox.net's successful launch in 2006, we have made it a priority to build and maintain consumer confidence by implementing state-of-the-art technologies and industry best practices that power our web engine.

Technology & SecurityGolfFox.net takes account information and ecommerce security seriously. That's why we chose an n-tier server infrastructure which separates lock & key and houses our database systems separate from our web application servers. GolfFox.net is built on the latest version of Microsoft's .NET framework, which provides a stable, reliable platform which powers the site. Additionally, .NET offers built-in security checks, seamless scalability, and integration tools that afford us the enterprise-level architecture we need to provide and maintain such a robust website. In order to protect credit card transactions, GolfFox has installed a 128 / 256 bit single root SSL certificate to encrypt its real-time online payment and customer data forms. For security purposes, we do not store credit card information at any time. |

Design & User ExperienceWith the myriad of golf-related sites out there, we want to differentiate ourselves in a few key ways. We want to look good. Many websites out there clutter their site with ads, gimmicks, and confusing navigation. GolfFox.net is all about a clean, neat design, intuitive design hierarchy, and creating a positive user experience. Usability is a key component. If our users can't find what they're looking for, our site loses value (no matter what technology or design advantages it wields). That's why we leave our search bar on every page of the site. That's why we spend countless hours perfecting our algorithms and testing our sub-applications. We want you to enjoy your time here. And we want to know what you think. If you have any feedback about our site, please take just a second and send it our way. |
